Phone is the worst new phone you can get just now, yep if you are wanting to pose it’s a good phone but anything else its rubbish, when you try & text the buttons are too close! & it has no other features apart from the camera, it’s a very slow phone & basically I hate it.

I do like this phone but there is one thing that is really annoying me. Every time I receive a message it saves under sim rather than phone meaning if I want to keep more than 20 messages on my phone I have to manually move them to phone. My friend has the same phone & says his save automatically to phone. Does anyone know how I can change the settings?

Please how do you download the photos. The download box on the phone is empty, how do you get the photos into it? I presume this is why I can’t download.

Can anyone please explain how to download photos to the PC. The software has loaded OK, but the problem seems to be the phone, the download area has no pictures in it although there are pictures on the phone.

After reading many reviews I was put off from purchasing the G600. I wanted a good all round phone that looks good, plays a few MP3′s, has a radio & the ability to take a few snaps. I also did not want a phone that when you put it in your pocket you have to walk lob sided to walk!
I took myself to my local phone shop to visit Scary Mary & friends & asked to have a play with the G600, Scary Mary obliged & I was quite impressed with the G600 & Scary Mary. I asked Scary Mary what was the return rate of the G600 as I had read loads of people have had problems on forums. Scary Mary told me that the only problems that they have had are the phones that network providers have messed around with & adapted the software on, & compared to the N95 the return rate is very low.
I decided to take the plunge & purchased a G600 for £199.00 on pay as you go. I damaged my contract phone & was not insured & the G600 is still around £250 SIM free so pay as you go was a cheaper option.
I got the phone home & was so pleased as the phone was SIM free & unlocked. The only 2 problems I have with the phone is the lack of choice of SMS tones & that the bottom corner of the phone is sharp & can irritate your hand. Apart from that I just can’t see why people are slating this phone.
If you set up the camera correctly you will get very good results but not as good as the K850i or N95 but still gets the job done.
MP3 player is average but also gets the job done, the speaker is not load but quality using Bang & Oulfsen technology. When using the headphones the quality of sound is amazing & in my opinion gives any Walkman phone a run for its money.
The call quality is superb & compared to other phones the battery life is more than acceptable.
I think the G600 is a very good all round phone & I will give it 4 stars as I do not believe that the perfect phone has yet to be made. Spend time with the G600 & explore all the settings & set it up to how it suits you & I think you will enjoy using the G600.

I learned not to make an opinion by reading negative reviews. The G600 I own is simply great.

I HAVE NEVER WRITTEN A REVIEW ABOUT A PHONE BUT HAVE BEEN A BIG FAN OF SAMSUNG FOR YEARS. CAN I SUM IT UP IN THREE WORDS CHEAP & CHEAP! PUT A D600 IN ONE HAND & A G600 IN the OTHER. WOW the TECH ON the INSIDE MAY BE GREAT BUT THIS PHONE HAS TO SURVIVE 18 MONTHS UNTIL NEXT UPGRADE.
GOOD LUCK TO THOSE WHO GET ONE I am SENDING MINE BACK. BUT TO KEEP AN OPEN MIND WOULD BE TO HEAR YOUR REVIEW IN A YEAR & A HALF? COME ON SAMSUNG BRING IT ALL BACK!
